Grannys Soul Food in Austell

Had catfish, green beans and yams. Excellent!! Very friendly, the girl was especially nice. ( and so was the guy, lol)

I was more than satisfied with the customer service and food quality. Eating this was like being at home. I am honestly ready for a nap, and I'm in the middle of work!

This was my very first time in this restaurant and it smelled sooooo good. Everything looked AMAZING and to top it off the young lady at the counter was exceptionally polite!! Her energy was absolutely everything to me and it showed that she not only enjoyed her job but she also enjoyed her customers. I will travel alllll the way from South Atlanta just to come here again.

Where do I begin "PUDDIN" Baby girl taking the orders filling plates is "AMAZING" she greeted us with so much love & is the best at what she does! Love Ha! The food is seasoned just how you'd like it! Although the Mac & Cheese was not Gud the crust was baked on top but the noodles & cheese was liquidy like Kraft or something. And the cake was boxed and expensive at $4.50 a slice. I got beef tips a couple pieces were tough but the taste made up for it. I got 3 plates ribs, baked chicken white meat was seasoned all way through. The food is good I would definitely be back when I'm in the area. They are so friendly it just makes you want to stay there all day!

Very delicious food. Service is extremely friendly, upbeat, and fast. They have some of the best soul food in the area, and I've been to many of them.The owner stands by his staff and his food. The seasonings on the food are more robust than the other local soul food spots. One item that's usually not listed but they can prepare on demand is fish, and it is delicious! Their sweet potatoes are the biggest draw for me, they know how to flavor them and cook them without being overly sweet or not sweet enough.

Come in hungry, you'll leave Happy and full. Don't pass by this place.

The Mac and cheese LOOKED good but has no salt and slimy underneath the good looking cheese, the squash wasnt seasoned, I couldn't eat it. Idk who the hell was back there cooking but this dont taste like nobody granny cooked it.

Granny restaurant is a wonderful restaurant to eat,their foods are so good and well cooked. I am a great cook. So when I say that Granny restaurant is a wonderful place, I mean it.

The food was not best. Went there for lunch today and I could not eat the food. The baked chicken was very dry and the green beans taste like from the can. We will not be back.

My plate was good BUT the pound cake was nasty. It was wet and soggy. I don’t know if they drizzle something over it after it’s done but whatever it is please STOP! Other than the wet/soggy pound cake I enjoyed my plate for these spot.

Best soul food you will eat. They have amazing customer service, with a very fun and homey atmosphere. They give you a lot of food for an affordable price. This is the best place in Atlanta to get some delicious and affordable food!

They must have changed cooks because the food wasn't too good. I got cabbage(which tasted bland) baked chicken(that wasn't seasoned and Mac and cheese(which tasted better the next day). I wanted the smothered pork chop but it was so dry that there was no gravy in the pan. Just 2 pork chops with dried gravy

The only thing good about this place is the customer service. But the food here is very disgusting the worst place I ever ate at..... I don't really talk bad about a restaurant but I got to let y'all know before y'all go and spend your money... I will give this place -3 this place don't deserve a 1 🌟..... Although I got a thigh instead of a breast the customer service was so great, The cashier was friendly, warm and welcoming. The food was good ....finally two years in the douglasville area and couldn't find a decent eatery Grannys Soul Food hit the spot. definitely will recommend to family and friends.

First time eating here. Looking online for some soul food for my grandaddy to eat and lucked up on this restaurant. Nice hot selection of meats and veggies...just good home cooking. Staff was very friendly. Hope to come back again

We travel from out of the area to eat this delicious good for the soul food ❤ Our favorites are the neck bones & ox tail for our usual meat. Broccoli/rice casserole & yams. WILL continue driving out of the way for more! MUST do a shout out for the Queen dishing out the food. Absolutely LOVE how she treats EVERY one like family. Blessed to have such a gracious employee 👏💓

They need to change the name cause granny is not back there cooking. Mediocre greens mac and country style ribs no barbecue sauce wasnt even grilled yuck! You got the grill cooker outside for show

The ribs were tender the Black eyed peas rice collard greens cornbread hit the spot. The best food I've had since I've been here visiting I'm definitely coming back. ❤️❤️ the service was awesome. I loved this place. As soon as my mother and I walked in, we were greeted by a nice woman with piercing on her face. I don't know her name but I did notice how polite she was to everyone that came in. The food was great! I'll be back!

Always good. Whenever I come in town, it's the first place I go.

The food was great and I loved that they had German Chocolate cake with all coconut icing. Ran out of oxtails but we enjoyed our meal. Their wore masks and repeated instructed customers to space themselves 6ft apart following the feet on the floor, and they wore gloves. Kudos there.

Service was great..friendly staff. We were accommodated even though we arrived close to closing. Pork chop was good. Cubed steak was a tad salty but not terrible. Would try it again.

Oh dear Lord, this food is good! Cooked right outside the front door. The beef tips and cornbread simply trick. I left super satisfied. I'll add that the service was awesome as well.
